Your Consulting Team

Laura Abrahamson has a passion for community pharmacy – she embraces the pace, relationships with the patients and prescribers and the overall impact. She loves making a space function as efficiently as possible. What began for her as a career in healthcare quickly turned into a management career as her passions merged.

Laura began working as a pharmacist for Fred Meyer in 2009 after graduating from the University of Washington. During that time, she pioneered the clinical pharmacist role which managed programs for smoking cessation, weight loss, diabetes care and hypertension management. She performed and educated others in performing health screenings, diabetic foot exams and referrals for recommended care outside of the pharmacy scope. She trained staff associates in the Outcomes MTM platform and demonstrated how to effectively integrate it within pharmacy workflow. She managed the district’s pharmacies in Outcomes and internal clinical platforms for validity and volume to ensure maximum DIR payout.

In 2013 Laura was promoted to the District Pharmacy Manager at Fred Meyer. She took over management of 19 stores with unique disadvantages including rural placement and consistent performance issues. By the end of her time at Fred Meyer, it was the top performing district in the division. She created a culture of learning which ensures each pharmacy understood best practices and cultivated leaders for succession. She reorganized every pharmacy in the district to produce with efficiency, increasing both volume and accuracy. Laura developed a new recruiting strategy which successfully kept the rural locations staffed in her district.

In 2020 Laura purchased and rebranded Postal Pharmacy. She started a pharmacy website, began productive marketing practices, trained the staff to be compliant with modern developments and initiated multiple new programs. The pharmacy began to grow during the COVID pandemic and continues to grow to this day.

Laura’s specialties are organizing and efficiency: Keeping a clean organized workspace, consolidating notes, strategically organizing files, clearing workstations for efficiency, review of workflow, task prioritization, financial processes, and customized development plans for each staff member. She is adept at rearranging front ends, adjusting displays to better target your customers, performing pharmacy remodels (minor or major), overseeing team building tasks and leadership development strategies.

Laura Abrahamson

Christian has worked in the pharmacy industry for 9 years, starting in early 2014. During that time, he developed the skills and talents necessary to train a team for accuracy and efficiency. In 2015 major labor cuts came to pharmacy as the PBM changes began their massive increases and he developed new processes for accomplishing the same amount of work with less labor.

After working as a retail pharmacy technician for 4 years and having attained recognition as the go-to trainer for his district, Christian was promoted to the role of Health and Wellness Operations Specialist in Fred Meyer. While in this role, he managed 250 employees, positively engaged a downtrodden team, reviewed work processes to identify efficiency opportunities, and developed human resource skills.

Since 2021, Christian has been working at Oakridge Pharmacy as the Operations Manager. He ensures his pharmacy team is compliant with all best practices and regulations. He reviews transaction data for opportunities and vulnerabilities, including optimizing income while reducing cost to fill. He also champions new projects to ensure his business is at the forefront of the industry.

Leading with a positive attitude, demonstrating strong moral character and training large groups of associates for compliance, performance and precision are a few of the skills he brings to the table.
